Finding the perfect work-life balance is not something everyone can do. Work, friends, family, social life – all of it can be overwhelming. Did you know that where you live also plays a role in that work-life balance? Well, it’s true! And it looks like some cities in Canada are better than others when it comes to it.

According to a new report by Point2, its analysts looked at very important data about Canada’s 100 largest cities “to determine where work-life fusion feels effortless.”

There were 30 metrics that were looked at, that covered Work Intensity, Health & Wellbeing, and Liveability.

As a whole, Canada is one of the best countries for work-life balance but some of its cities and towns might not align with what you need.

Per the data, none other than Lévis, QC came in first place with an overall score of 69.6%, Burlington, Ontario came in first, Québec City, QC in second and District of North Vancouver, BC in third.

As for Ontario, Burlington landed first place in the region but fourth overall, with a score of 65%. “The city stands out for its remote work opportunities, high life expectancy, and low crime rates,” shares the report.

Other cities like Aurora and Newmarket, both in Ontario, managed to get on the list as “many residents in both cities report being in good mental health while enjoying high life expectancy and hundreds of medical specialists.” Not too bad.
