A Dubai-based Asian street food chain is officially opening its first Canadian location right in Toronto. WOK BOYZ is making its mark in the great white North and will debut in Toronto next week.

The popular go-to spot in Dubai is aiming to gain just as much success in Canada as it has in the Middle East. WOK BOYZ will welcome eager customers to its Liberty Village outpost at 171 E Liberty St, on January 29th.

“We are incredibly excited to bring WOK BOYZ to Canada,” said WOK BOYZ CEO and Founder Gaurav Sabharwal.

“Our mission has always been to share our passion for Asian street food with the world, and we can’t wait for the people of Toronto to experience what we have to offer.”

Customers can expect delicious WOK BOYZ creations, centered around customizability and fusion. The chain is known for its pan-Asian cuisine, with items like stir-fry noodles, rice bowls, and Asian-inspired snacks and beverages.

They’ll have Quinoa, gluten-free rice noodles, and Udon noodles too.

“WOK BOYZ stands as a testament to Sabharwal’s vision, a passionate food enthusiast, dedicated to capturing the essence of Far Eastern street food and fusing it with a vibrant, urban twist,” shares the chain.

“As a native Canadian, Sabharwal is proud to bring WOK BOYZ back home and provide a unique culinary journey to Canadians.”

WOK BOYZ currently has eight locations in Dubai, three in Ghana, and recently opened an outlet in Oman.

As for Canada, WOK BOYZ has its eyes set on opening more locations across the country.

For now, we’ll just enjoy their Liberty Village location once it opens.
