Winterlit is gearing up to illuminate the night sky at Mountsberg Conservation Area next month. The award-winning display of outdoor lights will transform the park and its two trails for a whimsical stroll under the moonlight.
The beloved event will kick off every evening starting Dec. 29, 2024, to Jan. 7, 2025, and Friday through Sunday between Jan. 10 and Feb. 17, 2025.
Feast your eyes on the wonderfully illuminated art installations that decorate the cozy forested area. Mountsberg’s award-winning display of outdoor lights brings Winterlit to life, especially along its two trails.
According to Conservation Halton, two of its trails are lined with sustainably sourced illuminated art pieces. Explore the Illuminated Sugar Bush Trail, a one-kilometre-long adventure and the Winterlit Trail, with the same length.
When you’re done with your moonlit walk, warm up by the Fireside Lounges and kick your feet up.
For you book lovers, bring a book to swap for a “new to you” trade in their ‘Book Nook’.
Don’t forget to grab a wood-branded souvenir too!
Tickets to this whimsical event are priced at adults for $22 plus tax, seniors and children (5-14) are $19, and young ones four and under are free.
If you’re a member, adults are priced at $16 plus tax, and seniors and children (5-14) are $14.
To make things even more special, there are two evenings where the park elevates its experience – New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day.
Expect a licensed bar, live musical performances, and activities like candle-making.
Non-member pricing for Winterlit Enchanted Evenings is $30 per adult and $25 per senior or child. Those with memberships will enjoy the festivities for $5 less than the stated price.
Make sure to book your experience ASAP. You don’t want to miss out!
