Garden lights and holiday night! A combination that just makes the last few months of any year the absolute best. And that is precisely why we were thrilled (as will you be) to learn that Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) is bringing back its spectacular light display. Enter: Winter Wonders!
Starting November 23, Hendrie Park, one of RBG’s largest outdoor gardens, will transform into a magical winter wonderland.
You can expect the scenic pathways bejeweled with festive lights, interactive installations and magical displays. All made even more fab with the festive tunes playing in the background. The displays and installations will take you through stories of unique winter wonders and origins of popular holiday traditions.
Imagine strolling through this natural beauty amid sparkling lights and sing-along music while enjoying your fave holiday fragrances and flavours. You can grab a grub at the Turner Pavilion Teahouse and the Food Trailer.
And because no holiday experience is ever complete without some lip-smacking bevies and cocktails, you can hit the bar in the Atrium.
Whoever said garden strolls are a summer thing, had clearly not been to Royal Botanical Garden’s Winter Wonders!
Once you’ve had your fill of the LIT AF (literally) outdoors, head inside to the Botanical Train display or the warmly lit greenhouse. Or stop by Shop at the Gardens to collect a souvenir (or three).
The display will run from Wednesday, November 23rd to Sunday, January 8th. And tickets are now on sale. So, gear up for the high-“light” of your holiday season!
