You could be an extra in the upcoming ‘Wind River’ sequel filming in & around Calgary

Want to fulfil your dreams of being on the big screen? Now is your chance because, with an upcoming ‘Wind River’ sequel filming in Calgary, they’ve started looking for extras in the area!

Produced by Castle Rock Entertainment and directed by Kari Skogland (The Handmaid’s Tale), Wind River: The Next Chapter, will follow a newly minted tracker who is hired to help the FBI solve a series of ritualistic murders and is set to begin filming cross-province in April of 2023.

According to non-for-profit organization Alberta Keep Rolling, casting directors are currently looking for Indigenous men and women, ages 18 to 80 who will be available between March 10th and May 3rd.

The Wind River casting call in Calgary will be held on February 25th at the Grey Eagle from 9 am to 5 pm.
