We’ve got a lot to look forward to for Disney+ Day, and that’s even before this latest announcement! ‘Thor: Love and Thunder ‘will soon be streaming on Disney+ Canada, and it’s only a few weeks away! Here’s the scoop.
Over the weekend, Marvel announced that the summer blockbuster will be coming to Disney+ for its second annual ‘Disney Plus Day’. Rather than hosting it on the day the streaming service started (in November), Disney has pushed up the timeline to coincide with the upcoming D23 Expo.

Which means that Thor: Love and Thunder will be streaming in Canada starting on September 8th! The latest movie in the MCU, the movie features the return of some cast favourites (Chris Hemsworth, Taika Waititi, Tessa Thompson) as well as some A-list new ones like Natalie Portman (Jane Foster AKA Mighty Thor) and Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher).
The hotly anticipated streaming release only adds to a pretty serious lineup, which includes the debut of a live-action Pinocchio movie (directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks), and new Obi-Wan Kenobi project, and a whole lot more.
Mark your calendars folks, and get ready for a whole weekend of binge-worthy content!
