Ready to jet-set this summer? WestJet has unveiled its summer schedule with 92 daily departures from Toronto to cities all over Canada and across the globe.

Not only is the airline launching new daily trips from Toronto to Chicago starting in May, but it will also be relaunching direct flights to Europe with service to Spain, the U.K., Ireland, and Scotland.

WestJet describes its robust summer schedule as a “significant milestone in the airline’s recovery,” and says that service will be restored to near pre-pandemic levels.

Starting on May 1st, WestJet will run flights from Toronto to London once daily.

The airline will fly to Barcelona three times weekly starting on May 13th, once daily to Dublin starting on May 15th, and four times weekly to Glasgow starting on May 20th.

In June, WestJet will start direct service to Edinburgh three times weekly, and increase its service to London Gatwick to nine trips every week.

WestJet isn’t the only Canadian airline to ramp up its summer schedule. Air Canada has announced that it’s expanding its summer flight schedule with dozens of new destinations around the world.

Not only will the airline be flying to 34 more countries throughout the summer, but it will also restore flights to popular cities in Europe for the first time since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
