2024 is here and we’re feeling pretty grounded. Luckily, for those who want to take their new year to new heights, WestJet has shared its expansive new schedule.
Featuring six new routes departing from Calgary and Edmonton, as well as six extensions, this sunny season will be one for those with a desire to meet, greet, eat and experience new things.

Set to take the sky this year, the airline will soon offer new flights from Calgary to Seoul, Deer Lake and Reykjavik, and from Edmonton to Atlanta, Nashville and San Fransisco.
In addition, Calgary will see more opportunities to visit Honolulu, Maui, Varadero and Punta Canada, while Edmonton will get extended services to Pheonix and Orlando.
“Our 2024 summer schedule continues to deliver on our commitment to make critical investments across Canada, providing more affordable options for Canadians and international visitors to connect with the people and places that matter the most,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“This summer will see the return of seasonal, leisure-focused flying, to connect Eastern and Western Canada, and substantial growth in service to sun destinations, further cementing our position as Canada’s leading leisure airline.”
