Major Canadian fintech company to expand & is hiring in Alberta

Looking for a new job with a reputable company? You’re in luck because Wealthsimple is hoping to triple its headcount in Alberta by the end of 2025, and you could soon be on their payroll!

From engineering and sales to operations and client experience, the Canadian fintech company is hoping to deepen their talent pool, bringing the total number of full-time employees in Alberta to 105—which is about 10 percent of their overall workforce.

“There is so much amazing talent in Alberta and we’re excited to continue growing in the province,” said Diana McLachlan, Head of People Operations.

“With over 3 million Canadians trusting Wealthsimple with their finances, we need more people who want to solve real-world problems, enhance financial services for Canadians and be part of building a great company.”
