The plans are part of Waterfront Toronto’s 2020 Marine Use Strategy update. The goal is to create an active, safe, and accessible harbour, while fulfilling the promise to reorient the city back to the water. If these plans go through, we think it’s safe to say that mission is accomplished.

As of right now, there’s no set date as to when the project will be complete. But Waterfront Toronto is continuing to work diligently with local residents, businesses, the Indigenous community, and other various groups to find the best way to implement these exciting plans.
