Washington’s ultimate Christmas town is lighting up & here is what to expect

Now that the holiday season is just around the corner or already here for particularly joyous folks, it’s time to see what Leavenworth has in store this year. Washington’s ultimate Christmas town is lighting up its Bavarian-inspired streets to bring joy 7 days a week. Let’s get into some details about this year’s event.

From Thanksgiving until February visitors in Leavenworth will be able to experience a whole new light display. Instead of only lighting up on Saturdays & Sundays, the town’s Village of Lights will be lit up 7 days a week with over half a million lights. Getting to see the snow-covered town lit up at dusk is an unforgettable Washington experience and one that you don’t want to miss out on this year.

Beyond the lights, you’ll also be able to enjoy music & entertainment like carollers as well as some of your favorite holiday characters for photo ops. You can munch on roasted chestnuts, view a gingerbread house exhibition, and even snap your photos with Santa. It’ll feel as if you’ve been transported out of Washington to a magical world.

Of course, you can enjoy hiking and skiing in nearby areas as well. And after you’ve checked out the lights and holiday activities you can also shop, eat and drink your way around the town. You can learn more about what Leavenworth has in store this year by clicking here.
