Which is why it makes sense that our Washington just ranked as one of the most active states in the nation.

  5. Massachusetts
  6. Oregon
  7. New Hampshire
  8. Wisconsin
  9. Virginia
  10. California

For a little more perspective on our state, we have six gyms per 100,000 people, 12 health clubs per 100,000 people, 18% physical inactivity prevalence, and 86% access to exercise opportunities. Seems pretty good right? We’d say so although seeing Minnesota in first place is a little surprising.
