It’s no secret that Washington is beautiful and while the transition to fall may not be everyone’s favorite, it is certainly an excuse to get outside. Especially because three Washington drives just ranked among the nations most scenic for witnessing fall foliage. Here’s what made the cut.
An unsuspecting source, Gunther VW Coconut Creek, ran a survey of 3,000 respondents, asking each to rate their favorite driving routes for witnessing fall foliage. As you may have guessed, drives in the Northeastern states dominated the list but Washington still made the cut.

As you can see, no Washington in the top 10. That being said, Washington’s Snoqualmie Pass Scenic Byway did come in 27th as did the North Cascades Highway in 100th and also the Methow Valley in 122nd. Keep in mind, this list had 140 inclusions to making it in the top 30 really isn’t too bad!
