Want to live in a bar? Toronto’s closed Cold Tea location is now renting as an apartment

In a bizarre turn of events for Toronto real estate, a new listing has popped up that some folks may recognize. The space that was once home to Toronto’s not-so-hidden hidden bar, Cold Tea, is now available as a rental. As you may remember, Cold Tea shuttered their doors in Kensington Market back in November.

Although it’s not so surprising that the space is up for grabs, what is wild is that it’s listed as a residential property. As you can see in the ad below, the Cold Tea rental is described as a townhouse with 5 bathrooms within its 1250 square feet. Of course, there are no bedrooms and the entire place is set up like a bar. But hey, details shmetails, right?

Some of the perks of the property would have to be the kitchen and the back patio. Given the snacks Cold Tea served up in their heyday, it’s safe to assume the place is well equipped. Plus, if you ever spent a summer night at the joint, we don’t need to tell you how amazing the patio was.

So if you’ve really been missing evenings at Cold Tea and want to call this place home, perhaps this rental is for you! The place could be all yours to the tune of $7,500 a month.
