It is pretty, it is cost-effective and it is different. A bar truck is undoubtedly the highlight of any party – big or small, friendly or professional. It’s no wonder mobile bar trucks are having a major moment right now. And for all you party people, we found the ultimate taps on wheels for you. Say hello to WanderBar!
WanderBar is a Calgary-born, women-owned bar truck owned by Jessie Zanutig (also Creative Director) and co-founded by Kristen Murphy (also Bartender Extraordinaire). With Jessie’s creativity, Kristen’s bartending expertise and Biggie, the bar truck’s beauty, the three are becoming the life of soirees around town.
But their crazy fun energy isn’t the only thing that’s garnering them all this love and attention. There’s more!
First off, they take the bar experience to a whole other level with their epic bartending service and their lip-smacking cocktails. So, the bar truck comes with six “travelling taps.” And these taps can run more than just beer. Think prosecco, cocktails, sparkling rosé, sangria, kombucha, cold brew coffee or anything else you want. Meaning, you can enjoy drinks the right way— from a freshly tapped keg!
Second off, they can help you with the whole process of sourcing kegs from local breweries. And even source them for you, if you want to rid yourself of that hassle altogether.

And third off, Biggie, the bar truck, is a 2001 Mitsubishi Mini Cab with a 4.5 feet width. So, it can fit through most double doors and can fit into not-so-big venues as well.
Long story short, this tiny travelling bar is just what you need to turn your spring, summer and even fall soirees into a banger. Whether you’re planning a gorg summer wedding, a fun stampede party, a huge corporate event or an intimate graduation get together.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, they are very safe to use too. WanderBar is Alberta Health Service-approved and comes with commercial liability insurance.
