The new W Toronto hotel is set to open its doors on Thursday, July 21, and along with it, two dining concepts that are sure to be an instant hit.

On Thursday, W Toronto announced its two-level coffeehouse, kitchen, and bar, called Public School.

Located on the Bloor Street level of the hotel, Public School is described as a “rebellious” spot “serving up no-fuss, plant forward all-day menus creatively combining the modern with the nostalgic.”

“Work, mingle and vibe out with local barista coffee, craft beer and mischievous cocktails from morning to late night,” the description says.

“Be inspired and connect with collaborative workspaces during the day that transition into a buzzing social scene as the sun goes down.”

The menu features a variety of tasty breakfast bites and creative dishes served all day, like the Valedictorian burger with a beet and kale patty, veggie meatballs, rainbow Thai salad, Korean fried chicken on a bun, chickpea fries, and much more.

The “mischievous” cocktail menu features choices like Prickle My Fancy, Dazed & Confused, Scream & Sprout, and Spill The Tea.

Also opening on July 21 is the SKYLIGHT Rooftop, an “enchanting rooftop hideaway” that evokes the boho hippie spirit of Yorkville in the 1960s.

You can make a reservation for both Public School and SKYLIGHT on OpenTable.
