Heads up art lovers, because a fun new activity is coming to the city this weekend. Create! Arts Festival is a brand new initiative from the Eastside Arts Society, and it’s got a unique twist. Rather than buying art from local makers and artists, they’re going to help you create your own!

Hosted by a variety of artists, the accessible and affordable workshops offer a range of art pieces to create. You could try your hand at block printing, learn to make felt, or even create your own ceramics piece. If you’ve been envious of Seth Rogen these past few months, then this is your opportunity to test the waters.

In addition to the adult classes, there will also be kid-friendly ones as well. So, this might be the perfect weekend option for the budding artist in your life. Classes will be held outdoors at Woodland Park on Saturday, plus studios around the Eastside on Sunday. You’ll be able to take your work home that day, or pick it up once the firing process is done (for some ceramics pieces).

So, what are you waiting for! Click the link below to check out the full schedule. And at $10-$25 a workshop, maybe pick two!
