Here’s when this year’s annual tree lighting is happening in downtown Vancouver

We think the best part about the holiday season is decorating and lighting a tree – no matter its shape or size, be it a table-top decoration or a sky-high tree in the centre of downtown. For folks of the same mind, the 16th annual Vancouver Tree Lighting by Amacon is happening at the Vancouver Art Gallery – so get ready for a classic holiday event to kick off the season.

The 16th annual lighting will take place on Friday, December 2nd at 6 PM outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery ( šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square).

The lighting is free to attend, and if previous years are any indication, visitors can likely expect to grab a cup of free cocoa, and enjoy live musical entertainment.

Mark your calendars & we’ll see you there!
