Great news, travellers! Air Canada just announced the addition of new non-stop flights between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Singapore’s Changi International Airport (SIN), making travel between the two global destinations the most seamless possible. The first non-stop service from Canada to Singapore, the new route will operate four times per week starting April 3rd, 2024 – though seats are already available for purchase!

Passengers will travel onboard Air Canada’s flagship Dreamliner fleet, which features three cabins of service for customers to choose from: Air Canada’s Signature Class with lie-flat seats, Premium Economy, and Economy.

“We are committed to growing YVR as a premier trans-Pacific hub, and Singapore is a top global financial centre, a multicultural destination that offers an abundance of tourism and food experiences,” says Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President, Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada. “Our newest flight will be equally appreciated by international business travellers, as well as those seeking an exciting holiday destination, or simply visiting friends and family.”

Galardo also notes that the new route will provide an important gateway to other destinations across Southeast Asia, Southern India, and Western Australia.
