Here’s everything coming to Vancouver Pride weekend in 2025

Every year, Vancouver Pride celebrates the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the incredible art and talent to come out of it, as well as those working towards creating greater inclusivity in our city. This year marks a significant year of transition for the organization and the community at large, with the return of the Davie Village Pride Festival, over 150 parade participants, and much more.

Here’s everything coming to Vancouver Pride weekend in August 2025.

The first Davie Village Pride Festival in six years

On Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, the beloved Davie Village Pride Festival returns after its six-year hiatus, taking over West End with vibrant live music and drag performances, roaming dancers, community vendors, and other interactive experiences.

The all-ages event is a celebration of queer life, culture, and connection, and will take place from 2 to 10 p.m. on Davie Street (Burrard to Jervis Streets) and until 9 p.m. at Nelson Park.

“This year’s Pride season is the result of months of work by staff, contractors, and community partners,” says Aidan Bancroft, co-chair of the Vancouver Pride Society. “As a new board, we’re focused on supporting that work and beginning a process of long-term change that reflects the needs and leadership of the communities we serve.”

Pride Parade

As for the annual Pride Parade, get ready to gather in the West End on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, and watch (or march along) as the parade of queer-serving organizations and allies makes its way along Pacific Boulevard to the Dave Village Pride Festival, which kicks off at 2 p.m.

The parade will start at 1 p.m. on Pacific Boulevard, just past Griffiths Way. According to their website, there will be four accessible viewing zones along the parade route this year.

“This festival belongs to our community. It thrives thanks to everyone who shows up, who volunteers, who organizes, and who cares,” says Morgane Oger, secretary of the Vancouver Pride Society. “Our team is proud to carry that work forward, and we look forward to building a stronger and more accountable organization with our communities in the months ahead.”
