It’s a universal fact (in Vancouver) that more beach logs equal better beach days, as they offer folks the perfect place to perch for a summer sunset if they forgot their blankets & towels at home. Luckily for Vancouverites, the Park Board has been given the green light to roll more logs onto multiple beaches across the city in the coming weeks.
First up is English Bay this weekend, ahead of the Honda Celebration of Light.
The Park Board also urges folks to be more mindful of the trash they leave behind – as their crews continue to uncover excess cans, bottles, and cigarette butts.
