Lace up your skates, folks! Rolla Skate Club has found a permanent home at the PNE after hosting amazing roller skate events all over Vancouver. The community-focused club offers all-ages skate sessions as well as 16+ and 19+ sessions at the iconic Rollerland building at the PNE – and disco attire is strongly encouraged.

With weekly skate sessions underway since June, Rolla Skate Club is fully prepared to provide guests with a classic skate experience, complete with their very own DJ and massive roller rink. Once the PNE Fair wraps up on September 5th, folks will be able to roll up to the rink every Saturday.

Skate Sessions tickets are released weekly, 10 days before each event – with the next session slated for Saturday, September 14th. Each ticket covers the price of rental rollerskates, but folks are also welcome to bring their own!

What’s more, Rolla Skate Club will be picking weekly themes, and encouraging visitors to dress up for them for some extra fun. Think everything from music icon dress-up to a tropical holiday theme.

Pop-up skate sessions

In the meantime, if you’re looking for an opportunity to break out the skates you just copped on Ebay, you can check out Rolla’s outdoor classes, events, and social skates happening throughout the city. Honestly, a pop-up roller skate event sounds like the epitome of summer in Vancouver, to us.

In terms of the pop-up sessions, availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to look into a Rolla Summer Membership sooner rather than later.

We’ll see you at the rink, Vancouver!
