Vancouver is going to be giving us a whole lot of places to stop and smell the flowers. 18 to be exact! That’s right. Vancouver is looking to set up 18 natural landscapes and wildflower gardens across the city.
The new gardens will be easier to maintain, as well as have wild grasses and flowers that are native to the area. Yes, believe it or not, white roses are not naturally found in Vancouver.

Around 37 hectares across the city have been set aside for this new project. These gardens will also provide habitats for all sorts of insects and other fauna in the area, while also being very beautiful to visit and look at.

What this means is that you’ll no longer have to drive 30 minutes outside the city to see some of the nature that this area has to offer. And we consider that a big win!
