With the return of warmer, spring weather comes a ton of cultural festivals in Vancouver, and we’ve got another incredible one to add to the list. The annual Vancouver Hong Kong Fair is set to return this May, bringing Hong Konger artisans, performances, street food vendors, and games together for a full day of fun.

Presented by grassroots community group HK House, “Canada’s largest Hong Kong festival” pays homage to the journey of newcomers to Canada, celebrating the heritage and creativity of the Hong Konger community.

In addition to a lively market with over 68 booths, visitors have the chance to enjoy live music and cultural performances on an outdoor stage – so stay tuned for the official 2024 lineup of performing artists.

The festival will also feature an array of artwork that tells the stories of Hong Kong’s past, present, and future. This includes immersive VR and AR experiences revealing lost historical spaces and cherished traditions.
