Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Vancouver Folk Music Fest

Maybe it’s the relaxed tunes, maybe it’s the oceanside setting… whatever the reason, the Vancouver Folk Music Fest has become a bucket list experience in the city. So, its return this summer is, quite literally, music to our ears.

Naturally, that means we have to let you know that tickets for the iconic festival are now on sale! Taking place this July, the Van Folk Fest will be transforming Jericho Beach Park once more, for its 44th (!!) instalment.

While the full lineup has yet to be revealed, we did get a sneak peek at one of the headliners recently. The Grammy-award-winning blues artist Taj Mahal has signed on already, bringing some 5 decades of experience to the stage. Yeah, if the rest of the lineup is anywhere close to him, then we’re in for a real treat.

And we’re confident that’s the case, so we think opting in for the ‘Tier 1’ ticket sales (aka the lowest price) might be a good idea. At $200 (plus fees and taxes) the weekend pass will grant you full access to this truly special summer event.

So, if you’re thinking of going, make sure to act sooner rather than later. Now, time to hit up our friends and see if they want to go relax seaside a little bit this summer…
