Established in the 1790s, Unionville, Ontario is just a short drive from Toronto! This quaint hamlet is located within the larger city of Markham and is chock-full of history.
The area’s main street is lined with plenty to do and it’s the perfect day trip from the city, especially during autumn!
If you’re driving from Toronto, getting to Unionville should only take you 45 minutes.
If you don’t have a car there is also a bus that leaves from the York Mills Bus Terminal to Unionville you can utilize.
Main Street is the place to be when visiting Unionville, Ontario.
The street is lined with stunning heritage buildings, pubs and boutiques, with some of the buildings dating back to when the hamlet was founded in the late 1700s.
