Two Granville Island faves have joined forces for beer and donuts

Psst, hey, we know you wanna know about an amazing new pop-up experience coming from two Granville Island favourites- Lee’s Donuts and Granville Island Brewing. The new pop-up kicks off this Friday, and will be up for 10 days only. Here’s why you’re going to want to check it out.

For the summer, Granville Island Brewing is releasing a new ‘Peach Sour’ beer, and they’ve gone all out to get you to try it. They’ve taken over a space in Gastown (45 Water Street) and are essentially giving away beers for 10 days straight. How so? By partnering with the Vancouver Food Bank.

Instead of purchasing a beer, guests are invited to make a $5 dollar to the charity (by texting a peach emoji ? to 30333). Or, you can even bring a non-perishable food item, if bartering is more your style. Either way, it’s a great thing for Granville Island Brewing to support.

To add the icing to the cake, they’ve also joined forces with Lee’s to create a special edition Peach Donut, which will only be available for a limited time too. Luckily, you’ll be able to find those at all 3 locations- the pop-up in Gastown, the taproom on Granville Island, and Lee’s Donuts itself. Pro tip- they’re giving away a free donut with the first 13 beer delivery orders each day, as well.

And finally, the pop-up is going to operate by timed admission only, to keep in line with the current public health restrictions. Our advice? Use this great deal to do a little local sightseeing around Gastown one day! For more info, just click the link below!
