Early spring may mean even more rain for our already rainy state but it also means more flowers, especially tulips. Before you know it, the Skagit Valley will be in full bloom and Tulip Town will be open. This year, there are five ticketing options and here’s what they entail.

The 39th annual event will take place from April 1st to 31st in Mount Vernon. This year’s event is set to be bigger than ever before with 3x the number of tulips expected. What’s more, if you fall in love with a specific variety of tulip you can actually purchase bulbs by scanning a QR code associated with the tulips in the field.

Beyond exploring the fields and taking trolly rides you’ll also be able to enjoy local ice cream, coffee, and treats from farm-to-fork bistro Skagit Landing and a beer and wine garden.

Here’s what to know about tickets and all of your options for this year’s event.

General Admission

Ticket includes parking, entry, trolley ride (weather dependent), access to the 2023 bloom field, tulip gardens, indoor tulip display, & barn experience.

Cost: $15 ages 12+ | $7 ages 6-11 | $13 Senior/Military | Kids 5 and under are free

Experience Pass

Ticket includes parking, entry, trolley ride (weather dependent), access to the 2023 Tulip Bloom field, tulip gardens, indoor tulip display, and barn experience. A Mini-workshop and exclusive access directly into the field, where visitors will be given a demonstration on the proper way to cut tulips.

Cost: $50 for all ages – not recommended for children under 8

Anytime Ticket

Ticket includes parking, entry, trolley ride (weather dependent), access to the 2023 bloom field, tulip gardens, indoor tulip display, & barn experience. No reservation is needed, simply show up at the farm any day/time.

Cost: $25 for all ages

Anytime Plus Ticket (new in 2023!)

Ticket includes parking, entry, trolley ride (weather dependent), access to the 2023 bloom field, tulip gardens, indoor tulip display, a fresh bouquet of tulips & barn experience. No reservation is needed, simply show up at the farm any day/time.

Cost: $35 for all ages

Photography Passes

Photography Pass – Day Pass

One-day access pass during general admission hours, PLUS exclusive access to the tulip field and gardens during the golden hours of 6 AM-8 AM and close through sunset on the same day. Photographers may bring up to 10 participants for a photo shoot at an additional fee.

Cost: $100

Photography Pass – Season’s Pass

Everything that a Day Pass has but all season long! Visitors will receive a badge and lanyard for unlimited entry during photography pass times and regular business hours.

Cost: $375

Photoshoot Participant – Day Pass

Photographers may bring up to 10 participants for a photoshoot. Participant passes are only good for the day of the photoshoot. Exclusive access to the tulip field and gardens during the golden hours of 6 AM-8 AM and through sunset when accompanied by a Photography Pass holder.

Cost: $50
