With snow on the ground and the holidays just around the corner, we’re eagerly looking for fun things to do with our loved ones when we’re off the clock. On our list for this season? Tubing at Mount Norquay Ski Resort in Banff, Alberta!

Located in the beautiful Rockies, Mount Norquay opened in 1926 and was the very first ski hill to welcome visitors to the iconic national park.

Nearly 100 years later, they have 60 runs, as well as the longest tube lanes in Alberta.

Whether it be in the morning, at noon, or after dark (on Fridays and Saturdays), this thrilling resort offers 900 feet of fast-flying fun.

Climb aboard and hold on tight as you fly over humps and across sheets of snow all in the name of speed.

With eight lanes and a slope angle of 10 to 15 degrees, adventure-seekers will have plenty of room to experience the attraction, then once at the bottom, ride the surface lift back to the top!

According to their website, Mount Norquay’s tube lanes will open on Dec. 13, 2024.

Tickets cost $29 for children 4 to 12, or $47 for adults and can be purchased online now, so don’t hesitate!

Enjoy and remember – the last one to the bottom is a rotten egg… and the rotten egg usually buys drinks at the clubhouse afterwards.
