These are the 25 most popular Halloween costumes in Canada this year

It’s crunch time, ghouls! With October 31st just around the corner, you’re running out of time to get a costume, but there’s no need to panic! From coast to coast stores are still open and well stocked, but beware, some Halloween Costumes have been more popular in Canada than others!

Luckily, well-known pop-up shop, Halloween Alley, has published a list of trending ensembles just in case you need a backup plan.

First on their list was Buzz Lightyear, which was hardly a surprise given that the beloved Toy Story character was just given an origin story.

Other popular films that amassed a major following this year? Encanto, Top Gun Maverick, Hocus Pocus 2 and The Batman – whose characters will appear on nearly every doorstep from Vancouver to Montreal.

Jurassic World, Harry Potter and various superheroes from the Marvel cinematic universe were named in addition to other classics like Ghostbusters and Star Wars; and of course, because witches, warlocks and horror legends will never go out of style – Michael Myers, Vampires and Freddy Krueger were also on their list.
