Before you know it, summer will be in full swing and that means it’s prime time to get out of the city and enjoy the amazing hikes Washington has to offer. And as of Memorial Day weekend, Trailhead Direct returns to take you to hikes on weekends and holidays!

According to Trailhead Direct, it is a service provided by King County Metro, in partnership with King County Parks and SDOT and sponsored by Amazon.

“This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. The Trailhead Direct service runs on designated weekends and holidays,” it states.

Kicking off on May 25th, the seasonal service will operate to September 15th, and will include Memorial Day (May 27th), Independence Day (July 4th), and Labor Day (September 2nd).

The best part, the adult fare is $2.75.
