Spring is in the air… can you feel it? We sure can! And that means we’re up for a fun-filled season with markets, pop ups, outdoor experiences and more, coming to our wonderful city. If you’re looking to do some light shopping this upcoming season, there are a number of pop-up markets in and around Toronto that are a must this spring.

Whether you’re into wellness activities or simply supporting local, there’s a lot to see and do at these pop-up markets and we can’t wait.

Toronto Art Crawl – Spring edition

On March 24th, celebrate the beginnings of spring at the seventh annual Toronto Art Crawl inside The Great Hall.

This is your one-stop shop for art, photography, sculptures, jewelry, fashion, home decor, skincare and so much more. You’ll find one-of-a-kind items as you browse through the over 65 local artists and artisans.

Make your way to Newmarket and check out the Spring pop-up handmade market for all your unique and one of a kind goodies.

Momo Anime Market

Calling all anime fans! Momiji will transform into a fandom hot spot for all anime fans.

You’ll want to check out all the vendors selling prints, pins, stickers, figurines, Japanese crafts, and more. Fuel up on the delicious Japanese food too!

Studio Ghibli Fan Pop Up

Immerse yourself in the world of Studio Ghibli at this fan pop up in North York. Expect a weekend full of fun activites and attractions, cosplay and more.

“Explore a variety of merchandise booths and discover unique artwork inspired by your favorite films or grab a plush toy to cuddle with while you explore,” shares organizers.

“Don’t forget to satisfy your taste buds at our delicious food stalls, offering a selection of Japanese treats and snacks. Indulge in Afternoon tea, Ghibli inspired Bento boxes, Onigiri, Macarons, Donuts, Cotton Candy and more!”

Since this event is in high demand, no walk-ins are allowed – you must buy a ticket.

Toronto Dark Arts Market – Spring Fête

“Who said Goths are gloomy? We enjoy flowers and sunshine just as much as the next person – well, from underneath a large parasol and the safety of a good slathering of SPF 50,” shares organizers.

No matter your colour scheme, everyone loves spring! And you will too at the Toronto Dark Arts Market.

“Join us as we celebrate Spring and get an early start on Mother’s Day – we’ll have presents for your cool Goth Mom, or presents that a cool Goth can give their Mom. Or just lovely things to buy for yourself, because don’t you deserve it? Our 35 vendors will have delightfully dark and creative handmade wares for your perusal.”

The event it “mostly” kid- and dog-friendly, according to organizers.
