A modern winery has opened in Toronto’s newest food destinations & here’s where

You won’t need to travel down to Niagara to enjoy a good ol’ winery. A local Toronto bar has opened up a second location in the Davenport neighbourhood and it’s the city’s newest winery.

Toronto’s Paradise Grapevine has expanded over to Geary Avenue and has officially opened its long-awaited winery and bar. In an announcement post shared on Instagram, the bar spilled the exciting news, showcasing its interior space and outdoor patio.

“Today….is the day….that we FINALLY….after years of planning and work….OPEN OUR OWN WINERY,” read the post shared on July 20.

According to Paradise Grapevine, after about a year and a half of searching for a spot that would work well, they finally had luck when a space at 218 Geary Avenue became available.

“We will crush, ferment, blend and bottle on-site as well as serve special one-off releases, single barrel wines and all sorts of other fun things at the onsite bar that we very proudly built ourselves,” reads its announcement.

“We’re also running a patio restaurant with wood-fired asado-inspired delights from Thursday to Sunday all summer long! For us, this is a true dream realized, and the absolute perfect location.”

Toronto keeps on giving when it comes to foodie experiences and new drink spots. The Paradise Grapevine winery is open Monday to Thursday from 5 pm to late and Friday to Sunday from 12 pm to 2 am. Restaurant hours vary.

Check out their social media for more details on their hours.

So many spots, so little time!
