Toronto’s getting a massive art event with FREE all-you-can-eat pancakes

Art, booze, and unlimited pancakes. Need we say more? An international pop-up art event is coming to Toronto this November, featuring over 75 local artists, 300 pieces of artwork, and most importantly, all-you-can-eat flapjacks.

Described as “one of the largest pop-up art movements to hit North America over the past decade,” The Toronto Pancakes & Booze Art Show is the place to be for art-lovers this fall.

Local DJs and musical performers will provide the live soundtrack as you make your way through the exhibit and discover some of Canada’s finest emerging artists. All while you sip boozy beverages and stuff your face with flapjacks, of course.

You’ll also get to witness art creation in real-time with live body painting and body art demonstrations.

Tickets are just $11.34 pre-sale and $16.52 general admission, which covers the cost of admission to the art show as well as your pancake feast.

The event was first put on in Los Angeles back in 2009. Since then, it has popped up over 500 times in over 35 cities around Europe and North America.

“Batter sizzles, beer foams, and canvas lines the walls from ceiling to floor as hundreds, sometimes thousands, of revelers indulge in endless pancakes,” the description says.

“This is no stuffy wine-and-cheese, pretentious, someone-gag-me art event. It’s an innovative reimagining of the art show concept. A welcoming vibe for up-and-coming artists to sell and strut their stuff in a free verse, anything goes environment.”

If this sounds like the ideal way to kickstart your weekend, you can snag your ticket on Eventbrite right now.

The Toronto Pancakes & Booze Art Show

Where: Revival Event Venue, 783 College Street
