It’s finally that time! Toronto outdoor pools are opening for the summer and pretty soon, locals will be invited to swim to their heart’s content.
The City of Toronto has released its opening dates for public outdoor pools and some open this Saturday, June 17th.
Splash pads and public beaches are now officially open to the public, and that means swimming pools are next.
Some pools will be open for night swimming to give everyone ample time to cool off throughout the summer.

Ten pools will open on June 17th, 2023 with a partial schedule, meaning evenings and weekends only:
The remaining swimming pools will open on June 24th. with a partial schedule in the evenings and on weekends.
On June 30th, all locations will operate on full schedules from Monday to Sunday until the first weekend of September.
Some locations may also experience delayed openings or schedule changes, and you can get the latest updates about your local pool on the City of Toronto’s website.
Leisure swimming, lane swimming, and water play activities are free for visitors of all ages.
However, you can sign up for Aquafit classes and indoor lane swimming for an additional cost — all of the prices are listed here.
So, if you’re looking forward to cannonballs all summer long, you don’t have much longer to wait for Toronto outdoor pools to open.
