There’s a massive street festival taking over a Toronto neighbourhood in June

Spring is here, and so is the return of street festival season. One of Toronto’s most beloved street-wide celebrations is making its way to Dundas St West this June. Dubbed “Toronto’s official start to summer,” Do West Fest (formerly Dundas West Fest), promises to deliver three days of non-stop fun to the west end!

This popular festival is back for the 2024 season, kicking off on June 7th, 2024. For those who are hearing of this event for the first time, it features free musical performances, art installations, local businesses, artisan vendors, and so much more.

Last year, the festival took over 16 blocks of Dundas St West, stretching from Shaw to Lansdowne in the heart of Little Portugal, compared to its previous 14 blocks years prior. We can expect the same for 2024.

The Do West Fest, has been a community staple for 11 years, according to organizers, and every year, it gets even better.

In 2023, there were about 710,000 people in attendance. So expect this year to be even bigger.

According to organizers, there will be 10 festival performance areas, four major stages with A-list performances, one kids play zone, 40 licensed patios, 45 independent street-food vendors, and 12 art installations

We can’t wait for the return of warmer weather and all the food-filled festivals that come with it.

See you at Do West Fest, friends!
