It’s almost time to celebrate the Year of the Dragon! Chinatown is hosting a Lunar New Year celebration in Toronto and you won’t want to miss it.
This year’s celebrations will be held on February 10th and 11th. There will be all kinds of things to see and do, including performances, activities, booths, and tasty food.
Celebrations will take place in both Chinatown Centre and Dragon City Mall.
“Witness the traditional lion dance to kick off our event followed by a lineup of interactive activities and performances to showcase the rich heritage of Asian traditions and to celebrate the Year of the Dragon during the 2024 Lunar New Year Celebrations,” states the Toronto Chinatown BIA.

The “Mahjong King” Competition will also return this year as part of the Lunar New Year celebration.
Be sure to bring your appetite as this event will feature traditional Chinese New Year cooking.
