This weekend only, Tim Hortons is opening its first-ever Boat-Thru on Ontario’s Lake Scugog, near Port Perry. What’s a Boat-Thru? It’s a drive-thru… for boats!
Guests who arrive by watercraft are invited to sample a FREE cold drink from Tims new summer beverage lineup.
That includes the new Caramel Toffee Cold Brew, Vanilla Iced Latte, and Blackberry Yuzu, and Orange Ginger Sparkling Quenchers.
The Boat-Thru will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM, coinciding with the annual Lake Scugog Regatta.
It can be found at the Beacon Marina (at 3 Marina Drive, for the land-locked) in Caesarea, Ontario, just minutes from Port Perry.
“Our summers fly by so quickly and Canadians savour every moment of their long weekends,” said the Chief Marketing Officer of Tims in a press release.
“So we thought why not open our first-ever Tims Boat-Thru so our guests on Lake Scugog don’t miss a minute on the water.”

The chain recently unveiled all kinds of new drinks to cool off with over the summer months.
The Caramel Toffee Cold Brew is steeped for 16 hours, infused with Caramel Toffee syrup and topped with espresso-infused cold foam.
According to the chain, there will be a limit of six free drinks per boat, so keep that in mind if you’ll be showing up with a big group.
