We like wine, you like wine, wine is good. Washington State has some gorgeous wineries… And now it can also boast some of the best wine restaurants in America.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine took a look at all of the top-notch Vino-serving spots in the US of A and put together its picks for the top 100. Sure enough, three local spots made the cut. Crack a bottle, folks, the drinks are going down smooth.
Generally speaking, a massive and expensive wine list is an indicator of high quality. That being said, these restaurants weren’t ranked in any particular order and no prices or wine lists were included.
Therefore, nobody knows which Wine Enthusiast thinks tops them all. So we’ll say that the Washinton inclusions are the top three in the country. You heard it here first!

To begin with, here is how Wine Enthusiast picked their list. They stated that the list “is a selection of restaurants where wine is shared and celebrated”. Additionally, these places are “where, in our experiences, the selection, food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional”.
With all of that in mind, here are the three Washington restaurants that made the list of America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2019.
RN74
This French Steakhouse has over 1,000 wines available and the food is top notch. In fact, the former RN74 in San Francisco had been called a “revolution for the wine world”. (Making this an obvious choice in our books!) By the way, 1,000 wines mean a couple hundred of them are decently affordable. Not bad!
Where: 1433 4th Ave, Seattle
Walla Walla Steak Company
Aptly named after its location (one of the best-named cities in America), this spot has a hefty focus on local wines and a brewery attached to the steakhouse. As well as this, Wine Enthusiast likes that you can get nearly 40 different wines by the glass.
Where: 416 N 2nd Ave, Walla Walla
Willows Inn
The seasonally changing wine list is entirely comprised of PNW wines. On top of that, Wine Enthusiast also recommends the Blue Clams and heirloom wheat bread as a tasty food pairing. We’ll take ten, thanks.
