We’ve run into the problem countless times. We’re sitting there in our multimillion-dollar waterfront estate, and suddenly we get the urge to hit the links and smoke a cigar. But wait! That would mean firing up the floatplane, and at least a 15-minute ride to the country club on the mainland.
Well, with the Blue Raven Estate (their name, not ours) on Galiano Island in BC, that problem all but disappears. Because in addition to over 9 acres and 3 residences, this property also has its own 4 hole (Par 3 and Par 4) golf course. But, more on that later.

The main residence here is a Cape Cod-inspired home with 4 bedrooms, coming in at just under 5000 square feet. Then, there’s a 2-bedroom dock house (for the two deepwater docks) and a 647 sq. ft. guest house. One thing’s for sure- hosting family retreats, when appropriate, will never be easier.
And accessing this otherwise secluded property is easy as ever, assuming you have the toys for it. The docks allow yachts and floatplanes alike, plus there’s a helipad for those that are truly balling year-round. Then, you can house golf carts, sea-doos and whatever else you want in the spacious garage.
The real kicker here though is that golf course. Most estates like this have a putting green, and maybe a sand trap if they’re truly devoted. But 4 real holes? Flanked by trees and with hazards? That must have cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions to put in.
While $8.58M is a little out of our budget, we can’t help but dream about this amazing BC estate. To check it out in full for yourself, just click here.
