This stunning Airbnb is uniquely Albertan in the most glamourous way

In Wild Rose Country, it definitely isn’t difficult to find a cabin or an available glampsite. Unfortunately, we definitely can’t say the same for those looking for a little ‘prairie glamour.’ Yes, our province has a few beautiful, extravagant hotels and homes, but for the high-class staycationer looking for privacy beyond their own guest room, there really isn’t that many Airbnb’s in Alberta. That’s not to say that there aren’t any though. For example, there’s the Grand Castle on Ghost Lake, the Bearspaw Mountian Lodge and the Designer Ranch, a stunning 7 bedroom palace just outside of Banff.

Located 50 minutes away from Calgary and 1 hour from everyone’s favourite mountain town, Designer Ranch is an architectural wonder.

With acres upon acres of farmland, the one-of-a-kind destination is the perfect place for a couples getaway or family adventure.

The area is littered with towering trees, the landscaping is well kept, and because the land is protected by the Nature Conservancy of Canada so there’s plenty of wildlife to be seen from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Lounge in one of their deep soaker tubs that look out over the property, cook an over-the-top meal in their gorgeous gourmet kitchen, read a book outside under their gazebo or spend your days wandering the land, taking photos and breathing in the fresh air.

This would be the perfect opportunity to unplug for a few and reconnect with yourself or your loved ones.

Need your space? You could also just avoid them completely because if there’s anything that this place has going for it – it’s her size. Now, that’s not to say its square footage is the only reason you should visit though.

Combining log building elements with modern concrete floors and panoramic windows, Designer Ranch is incredibly unique and oh so memorable. So, if you’re looking for a place to stay and to live our your ‘Kardashians take Alberta Airbnb’s fantasy’ – this is it! Check it out, friends, it will only cost you $900 per night. That’s practically pocket change – unless you split it with 10 friends post-pandemic, which is really the only logical way to stay here, really. Luxury doesn’t come cheap, does it?
