This studio collective is Vancouver’s hottest new workout spot

Bringing you goss on everything hot in town is, quite literally, our job. And today we’re here to tell you about the hottest workout spot which happens to be in the Beach District (obvio!). Enter: House Concepts! The unique fitness studio opened doors to the public in November last year. And it has already garnered a lot of attention, for good reason, of course.

First thing’s first. We believe some clarifications are in order. House Concepts is not your usual fitness studio. It is, what they call, a studio collective.

Basically, it houses four different studios- Basecamp Athletics, Butterfly Boxing, Guest House and Personal Training Studio. And each of these studios caters to different fitness goals and calibres. Basecamp Athletics, for example, is an athlete-driven bootcamp studio with classes offering a full-body, high intensity workout for guests of all fitness levels.

Guest House, by far, has the most variety. There is a revolving roster of world-class coaches who host a multitude of classes, some of who host classes on the regular. With many options for beginners, there’s Yoga, HIIT, Pilates and a lot more. You can check out the full list of classes here. But know that the schedule changes every week and is posted online at 11 am every Monday.

Now here’s the thing- the classes sure are fun, but they can be intense. So, if not for your passion for fitness and the inspiring energy of the trainers that rubs off on you, it would be hard to even keep up.

In addition to their classes, the studio collective also offers personal training that includes a consultation, a physical assessment and one-on-one/ two-on-one training sessions. Simply put, you get a fully customized fitness program based on your specific needs. Wow, indeed!

What takes the overall experience to a whole new level is the beautifully architectured space you’re working out in. This architectural gem is worthy of the iconic tower it resides in, the Vancouver House.

Here, check out their website to see the latest schedule, book classes and find more deets. You can even buy their merch online including athleisure wear that you’d totally don all day long. Or if you’re in the Beach District, why not check the space out in person! But in the meantime, if you need some inspo setting your fitness goals, follow them on the gram!
