This star chef’s ‘Boozy Bodega’ pop-up is arriving in a secret location this August

You know us, we love a good pop-up. But what about one with few details and big promises? Color us intrigued! Boozy Bodega with Chef Shota Nakajima is claiming to be “the best takeout meal you’ve ever had from the weirdest bodega you’ve ever seen”. Get this though, they won’t tell you the location until 24 hours before the event.

Sounds intriguing right? It’s definitely one of the more quirky pop-ups that we’ve heard of in a while. We’re also pretty curious since details are slim. But what we do know is that you’ll be able to snack on spicy sesame chicken sandwichs, elbow macaroni, and perfectly crafted cocktails. Definitely different right?

Well, you also might get more than just a meal because you could win 1 of 25 fast pass tickets to the 2022 Cocktail District in a Willy Wonka style golden ticket hidden in a special chocolate bar available on the side. Plus proceeds from said chocolate bars and cocktails will benefit Healthy Behind The Bar. This organization is all about providing support through microgrants to those who work in the hospitality industry.
