We’re just goofing, but it is true that you can find an amazing espresso drink that is served out of an old milk truck. Celesto Espresso has been around since 2013, offering some of the best coffee in the city from a convenient location.
Now at King Street Station, this is the second street cart/truck created by owner Celeste Clark. Her first venture started way back in 1991, with a cart in South Lake Union.
After five years of running it, Celeste got out of that game and spent time at such staples as Vashon Roasters and Zoka, as well as the now-defunct Tully’s.
Anyway, she found her milk truck, named it Annie, and returned to serving delicious coffee on the street. Now, you can either grab an incredible mocha or a really nice chai. Feeling peckish? There’s also a rotating selection of baked goods and snacks.
Next time you find yourself in Pioneer Square, make sure you keep Celesto Espresso in mind.
