This Metro Vancouver farm’s ‘Cranberry Plunge’ is a crazy fall experience

Ready to try an off-the-beaten-path fall activity? Look no further, thanks to Riverside Cranberry Farm’s ‘The Bog’ experience out in Fort Langley. That’s right folks, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for… it’s time to become a (cranberry) bog person.

Each year during harvest season, Riverside Cranberry Farm opens up The Bog for the curious (and even adventurous) to come check out. Their self-guided tour will let you explore the cranberry field as the harvest goes down, before seeing antique machinery in action in the packing room. Along the way, you can use QR codes and an audio guide to learn more about what you’re seeing.

A 7-acre poop-themed corn maze is coming to the Fraser Valley this fall

That’s great in and of itself, don’t get us wrong. But, the real reason we’re recommending this is because of the ‘Cranberry Plunge’. This add-on option will have you don some waders (provided by the farm) and head into the field yourself for a truly unique photo op. After all, when’s the last time you saw a local influence standing in a cranberry field? For us, the answer is never.

The tours, and the cranberry plunge, are ongoing throughout the harvest season. We say head down this weekend, and enjoy one of the most unique activities around Metro Vancouver!

The Bog at Riverside Cranberry Farm

When: Tours every weekend during harvest season
Where: 26805 88th Avenue, Langley
Cost: $14.99+ for GA
