This local company makes handcrafted small-batch ice cream for dogs

If not, first of all, how dare you? Secondly, that’s okay. Because this local dog treat and supply company has got you covered. They’re called In Dogs We Trust and they’re serving up all the best this summer.

That’s right! You can get a scoop for your pup from the Scarborough-based spot, along with a ton of other goodies. In Dogs We Trust was founded in 2020 as a result of the effort to find one special pup a treat he would like. After the founder discovered that they were not alone in the struggle to find a treat for their picky pooch, they decided to create their own.

Thus, IDWT was born! The brand uses makes small-batch, hand-crafted treats, ice creams, and desserts for dogs. Their mandate is to use only the best local, human-grade ingredients and to keep their recipes as minimal as possible. Their products are all-natural, with no added sugars, salt, or artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. Sounds like some pretty great quality stuff to us!

Plus, it’s just darn adorable! The pup cups come in all kinds of flavours, like Strawberries and Cream, Mango Passion Sorbet, Classic Custard, and more. Plus, they’ve got other sweet offerings like a lineup of woofles (waffles), and even some merch!
