With restaurants and bars closed for the majority of this month, we’re all missing the freedom to see, do and eat new things. Although we can’t hop on a plane and explore the globe with our taste buds just yet, Calgary’s Island Foods makes pretending to travel around the world (and the Scoville scale) possible with their inventory of over 250 different imported hot sauces.

From Louisiana to Mexico, these guys carry spicy condiments made with every pepper under the heat of the sun from all over the place. Of course, they carry other things too, like jams, pasta’s and chocolates, but none are as outlandishly named and reality-altering as some of their hot sauce.

Categorized from ‘low heat’ to ‘bonkers,’ Island foods has some of the craziest products that we’ve ever seen – period.

With extracts like Pure Cap, which requires you to sign a waiver before purchase to Satan’s Blood – which is said to be ‘hot as hell’, what this little store lacks in space, it makes up for in its insane inventory.

For those who are willing to risk it all, they also have roulette-inspired games with mystery sauces and seeds for some of the world’s spiciest known peppers.

Interested? Check them out either in-store or order from their website below and good freaking luck, folks. We wish you, your tongue and your bowels all the best.
