This is Toronto’s brand new virtual Asian market that everyone’s been talking about

You may be stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean your food game has to be boring. Toronto’s newest virtual market just went live and it’s got the eats everyone is talking about. The platform is called k.Market and it’s all about bringing handmade Asian flavours right to your door.

So k.Market was created by Toronto Chef Ken Yau. You may already know him for his pre-pandemic dining experience k.Dinners.  Or perhaps from some of his experience working all over the world.

Chef Ken Yau started in Toronto working at Scaramouche and Nota Bene before moving to a three-Michelin star restaurant in the UK. After that, he helped launch a restaurant in Australia, cooked in Hong Kong, and finally returned back to Toronto. So we think it’s safe to say this guy knows what he’s doing!

When you log onto k.Market, you’ll encounter all kinds of amazing eats up for grabs. Everything available is handmade with love and inspired by delicious traditional flavours.

They’ve got hand-rolled dumplings, fried rice, pantry staples, and more. You can order up your goodies, then mix and match them to create the ultimate meals at home. They’ve done all the prep work so all you have to do is enjoy!

So check out this amazing platform next time you’re craving delicious eats. It may have only launched a week ago, but it’s already the talk of the town!
