This iconic Canadian bakery is rebranding & Calgary gets the first look!

After 23 years of what we thought was already perfection, one of Canada’s favourite spots has announced that they were only just warming up (and we’re not talking about their ovens). Cinnzeo is officially getting a rebrand and to our surprise, they’ve chosen Calgary to get the first look!

According to a release sent to Curiocity, Chinook Centre’s long-standing location will showcase the companies new concept, by re-launching on Thursday, March 18th.

“After significant market research and design work Cinnzeo is excited to launch a brand update after 23 years as the next evolution of our company,” said Brad Turner, Cinnzeo’s CEO. “The new design is to convey the joy of Cinnzeo fresh baked products and the welcoming experience our customers find at each location.”

Now before you panic, this doesn’t mean their cinnamon bun will be going anywhere. The pillar product will remain unchanged, untouched and unreal and for that, we can be thankful.

However, in line with their youthful new aesthetic they will continue to release new and exciting products, in addition to other recently added goods like their chocolate rolls, locally roasted organic coffee and espresso drinks, smoothies and gluten-free options; but who’s complaining?! We think that it’s great that our friends with dietary restrictions now are also able to enjoy the swirl – as long as it doesn’t affect their classic cinnzeobun!
