Sometimes you just gotta run away into the forest and not come out until Monday. Just us? Once you see this stunning glass cabin in the woods of BC, you’ll be booking your stay in no time. It’s one of the coolest Airbnbs in Canada, and it’s so, so far from Greg in HR who won’t stop mouthbreathing near us. Ah, solitude.
This cabin was created by Form and Forest, nestled near Golden. It’s right near the Blaeberry River, bordering crown land and deep in the heart of the wilderness. It’s perfect if you’re adventurous, with proximity to hiking, canoeing, 5 national parks, Kicking Horse, and all that Golden offers.
Or, you could just don your long johns and not see another living human until you check out. That’s wonderful, too.
The cabin features 2 queen beds with their own rooms, and a sleeping loft with another two beds. It sleeps 8, but we’re tempted to go full sprawl in the loft and call it our own.

A vaulted ceiling living room gives grand 180-degree views of the forest, river, and mountains. Imagine making your morning coffee and turning around and oh god there’s a bear! Maybe he’s a friendly bear? Anyway, you’re safe to observe nature in here from the safety of your living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a BBQ out back if you want to grill some perfect steaks. Or, if you’re like us, struggle to light the thing for 20 minutes, almost lose your eyebrows in a burst of flame, and drive into Golden for pizza.
This is as good as it gets, guys. A stunning modern cabin in the seclusion of BC’s beautiful forest, with world-class recreation just outside your door. It’s definitely one of the coolest Airbnbs in Canada! Apparently the place is normally booked far in advance, but maybe if we just stay hidden in the loft, nobody will notice we never left.
